O.S.T.R. , actually Adam Ostrowski (born 15 May 1980 in Łódź ), also known as Sharp – Polish music producer, composer, violinist, and rapper. A graduate of the Music Academy in Łódź in the violin class. Ostrowski was there since 1993. Co-founder of musical group BDC, in later years transformed into a group of LWC. Musician cooperated with artists like: Michal Urbaniak , TNA, Focus, DJ Rain Planes, Donguralesko, Vienio and Pele, Fu, Pezet, Sistars, Craig G, Slums Attack and Emade, whom with the duo under the name of POE released two albums. His work presents issues such as politics, corruption and social problems. In 2006 he starred in the cameo role in a film directed by the recovery Slawomir Fabicki.
OSTR presented his version of the concert at many events in hip-hop freestyle, but his main success in the freestyle battle was winning the annual, international event Hip Hop Kemp 2004 . The turning point in his career occured in 2001 with Eldo freestyle duel, which took place in Szczecin .

Adam Ostrowski was born on 15 May 1980 in Lódź, in the district Bałuty. The first tests associated with hip-hop music Ostrowski began the age of 12, with a radio cassette recorder Kasprzak. Two years later he founded with friends a musical BDC, later transformed into the LWC in which he performed with rappers like: Ahmed, Mussim, Celo and Kasina. The team was eventually disbanded in 1999. He made his debut on the album TA camp. Zipera

Zipera is one of the leading Polish hip-hop group, formed Koras, Pono and Fu, recording together since 1996, the first steps ZIP Squad.
Zipera in a straight line is derived because of the ZIP Composition – hip hop rap crew which also Jędker and Sokol (or group WWO) and Jaźwa, Mieron and Felipe (or group of Foundation).
All together they began precisely in ZIP Stock in 1996. First recorded entirely underground and independently. In 1997-1998 they recorded a few tracks on compilations, the album producer DJ 600V, CD Hills and Ya-Pa third

DJ Deszczu Strugi

WWO is a Polish hip hop group. The letters in the group’s name originally stood for W Witrynach Odbicia.
The two members of the group which originally started the underground project, which was WWO (“W Witrynach Odbicia”), were: Sokół and Jędker (rapper) establishing themselves underground in 1996 releasing singles like ‘Flippery’ and ‘Kolenda’ which were made on tape and sold underground. The group claim these singles were made purely for themselves, for their own pleasure and enjoyment of hip-hop. WWO is part of a wider crew called ZIP skład, the members of which are: Jędker, Sokół, Pono, Felipe, Mieron, Jaźwa, Koro and Fu. WWO’s first album release was called “Masz i Pomyśl”. In that album featured 600V (who is also a DJ for TeDe), Włodi and Pele from Ewenement, Deszczu Strugi, and the rest of ZIP Skład, Majki and Korzeń, Waco, Karton, Kuba, and others. After this album the group came into conflict with their record label “BMG Poland” and due to legal reasons could no continue producing under their current name. They had a choice: either give up entirely or continue under a different name. Thus is December 2001 WWO (“W Witrynach Odbicia”) ceased to exist and the group continue under their new name “W Wyjątkowych Okolicznościach”. In this group Deszczu Strugi joined the other two members, mentioned above. He has been acclaimed as arguably being one the best hip-hop DJs in Poland. He has also performed for various other Polish hip-hop groups such as Mor W.A. and TrzyHa.

The first album of WWO was published by BMG. Sokół became the co-owner of Prosto Music Label and Prosto Clothing. The new group then released their second album in October 2002 titled “We Własnej Osobie”. Their best-known hits include “Nie bój się zmiany na lepsze”, “Sen”, “Każdy ponad każdym” or “Damy radę”. Their texts are in Polish. The two latest albums were both released in late 2005, titled “Witam Was w Rzeczywistości” and “Życie Na Kredycie”.

Paktofonika

Paktofonika was a Polish hip hop group from Katowice and Mikolow, which debuted with the album Kinematografia in 2000. The name Paktofonika comes from the words pakt (pact) and fonika (phonics), from which derives the idea of “A pact made alongside noise from a speaker”, created by band’s founders, Magik and Rahim.

History

Paktofonika began when Magik left Kaliber 44 during the recording of their second album, W 63 minuty dookoła świata. Rahim left his group 3xKlan at around the same time, and formed Paktofonika with Magik and Fokus in 1998.
Their first songs were written in October of that year, being Priorytety, Ja to Ja, and Gdyby. Two new members joined Paktofonika, DJ Bambus on turntables, and Sot as a beatboxer. In the spring of 2000 the group signed a contract with Gigant Records. In the summer of that year, the group was in Witten (Germany) where they recorded their song 2 Kilo with German artists. That year, on December 18, their first album entitled Kinematografia was released.
Eight days after the CD was released, December 26, at 6:15, Magik committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of his apartment. After his death, the group continued concerts for some time, using pre-recorded material for Magik’s vocals. After a while, Fokus and Rahim dissolved the group to pursue other projects.
In the year 2001, a sample of Ja to Ja which was sung by Piotr ‘Gutek’ Gutkowski was used in an ice cream commercial without the group members’ agreement, but with the knowledge of Gigant Records. In September 2002, the farewell album was released. Archiwum Kinematografii contains studio outtakes from of the first album, and 2 songs recorded later without Magik (JaToJa 2(Dokuadnie tak! and W peunej gotowości). A few months later, in the Spring of 2003 the group announced the end of Paktofonika.
Rahim and Fokus continue to work in other projects, such as PFK Company and Pokahontaz.
